The GTA San Andreas tank cheat is probably the most searched cheat in the game — and no wonder: the Rhino is nearly indestructible, explodes cars just by driving into them and fires shells that wipe out anything in front of you. GTA San Andreas tank cheat for every platform

The tank appears right beside CJ. Make sure you are on an open street — spawning it in a narrow alley can block it in. If you want a second one, enter the code again.

How to drive and fire the tank

• 🎯 Aim: move the turret with the right stick (or the mouse on PC).
• 💥 Fire: use the vehicle’s fire button (Circle on PlayStation, left mouse button on PC).
• 🚗 Ram cars: touching other cars with the Rhino makes them explode.
• 🛡️ Stay inside: the tank is very tough against bullets, but it can still be destroyed by heavy explosives and it can’t go in deep water.

How to get a tank without cheats

The most reliable way is to raise your wanted level to six stars. At that level the army joins the chase with Rhino tanks. Defeat or bail out a crew and you can hijack one. It’s chaotic — bring armor and a fast escape plan. Military areas like the restricted base in the desert are also heavily guarded and dangerous to enter.

Where to find the jetpack without cheats

You first use the jetpack in the mission Black Project, when CJ breaks into the secret desert base. After you complete the next mission, Green Goo, a jetpack spawns at your Verdant Meadows airfield hangar — the easiest permanent way to get one. In the remastered versions you can also exit the jetpack mid-air.

The Hydra is a vertical take-off fighter jet with heat-seeking missiles. Use the thrust controls to hover, then tilt the engines forward to fly like a normal jet. Spawn it on a wide road or an airfield so it has room.

The Hunter is an attack helicopter with a machine gun and rockets. It’s slower than the Hydra but much easier to control, which makes it the better choice for beginners.

How to fly the Hydra without crashing

1. Spawn it on an open road or airfield, not between buildings.
2. Hold the accelerate button to lift off vertically like a helicopter.
3. Once you’re high above the rooftops, use the thrust control to tilt the engines forward. The Hydra now flies like a normal jet.
4. To land, slow down, tilt the engines back to vertical and lower yourself gently.
5. Fire missiles with the fire button; they lock on to aircraft and vehicles.

Practice over the desert, where there’s plenty of space and few obstacles.

How to fly the jetpack

Hold the jump/accelerate button to rise, release it to sink and move with the left stick. You can hold one-handed weapons like pistols and SMGs while flying. The jetpack is slow but perfect for reaching rooftops, climbing Mount Chiliad or sneaking past enemies. It’s also the only vehicle you can use to enter some interiors.

Using the tank in story missions

The Rhino makes many missions trivial: it shrugs off gunfire and wrecks enemy cars instantly. But it can also break missions. Some missions fail if a key car or character is destroyed, and the tank’s ramming can do that by accident. It also can’t follow you into narrow alleys or water. Use it for rampages and escapes rather than precise missions.

The Rhino has appeared in almost every GTA game since GTA 3, but San Andreas is where it became a legend. In San Andreas the tank can drive over cars, flip them into the air and blast helicopters out of the sky. Because the turret turns independently, you can drive in one direction and shoot in another — a trick that makes police chases short and very loud.

At a six-star wanted level the army joins the hunt with Rhinos of its own, so stealing one is possible but risky. Park your stolen tank in a safehouse garage if it fits, and you can keep it for later. The Hydra, meanwhile, can be found parked on the aircraft carrier at the Easter Basin naval station in San Fierro, which makes a fun target for a stealth mission of your own.
