GTA 6 Radio Stations: All 6 Confirmed Stations and Hosts

Rockstar has revealed the first six GTA 6 radio stations, from modern Latin music to classic metal. Here are the stations, their hosts, preview songs and the brand-new way you will be able to listen on foot.

Rockstar revealed them on October 8, 2026, with previews on its official music page. The game also adds on-demand podcasts and listening on foot through headphones or earbuds.

Rockstar Games has finally turned up the volume on Leonida. The gta 6 radio stations revealed so far cover Latin music, country, African music, metal, pop and Southern hip-hop, and every one of them already has a preview you can listen to. This guide lists all six confirmed stations, their hosts, the kind of music they play and the songs heard in the previews.

There is one important point to keep in mind from the start. These six stations are confirmed, but Rockstar has not said they are the complete final list. Rockstar describes this as its biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio and podcasts yet, so more stations may still be announced before or after launch. Do not treat this page as the full GTA 6 soundtrack.

All gta 6 radio stations at a glance

The table below is the fastest way to compare the six confirmed stations. Use it to find your favourite style first, then read the full section for that station further down the page.

Station Music style Hosts
Cocoteo FM Modern Latin: bachata, merengue, dembow, reggaeton El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao)
Back Country Radio Outlaw and renegade country MW (Morgan Wallen) and Delta Dawne (Lana Del Rey), plus Mud Dog Mike
AfroBank FM African music: classics, amapiano, 3-step Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax)
The Chamber 106.6 Classic heavy metal from the 1980s and beyond DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya)
Flash FM Pop Robyn and Alex Consani
Dirty South Classics Southern rap and hip-hop classics Trick (Trick Daddy) and Trina

One small note about the names in the table. Rockstar presents the hosts under their in-game, on-air names, such as El Martillo, MW and DJ Kerry. The real artists shown in brackets are the widely reported performers behind those names. The pairings in this article follow those reports, which match across several trusted gaming outlets, but Rockstar's own station pages lead with the on-air names.

Cocoteo FM: modern Latin music

Cocoteo FM is Leonida's home for modern Latin music. Rockstar describes it as the party that never turns off, and the mix moves between bachata, merengue, dembow and reggaeton. If you like music that is made for dancing, long drives and loud car speakers, this is likely to be one of your most-played stations.

The hosts are El Martillo, reported to be voiced by Bad Bunny, and La Gata, reported to be voiced by RaiNao. That pairing makes sense for the station. Bad Bunny is one of the biggest names in Latin music, and RaiNao brings a Puerto Rican voice to a station that is all about Latin sounds and culture.

Songs heard in the Cocoteo FM preview include Bad Bunny's "EoO", Axel Rulay's "Si Es Trucho Es Trucho (Remix)" featuring Farruko and El Alfa, and Romeo Santos and El Chaval de la Bachata's "Canalla". These are preview songs, not the full playlist. The final station will almost certainly have many more tracks, and Rockstar has not published a complete track list.

Choose Cocoteo FM when you are cruising through Vice City at night, or when you want high-energy music that never slows down. It is the closest thing in GTA 6 so far to a non-stop party station.

Back Country Radio: renegade country

Back Country Radio plays renegade and outlaw country music. This is not soft, polished pop-country. It is the rougher, wilder side of country, with strong voices, guitars and songs about life outside the city. Rockstar says the station broadcasts to the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn, and beyond.

The hosts are MW, reported to be voiced by Morgan Wallen, and Delta Dawne, reported to be voiced by Lana Del Rey. They are joined by Mud Dog Mike, a roving reporter and swamp meteorologist who checks in from the driver's seat of his Grassrivers airboat. Rockstar also describes Mud Dog Mike as Delta's not-so-secret lover, which tells you a lot about the humour of this station.

Songs heard in the Back Country Radio preview include David Allan Coe's "Need a Little Time Off for Bad Behavior", Loretta Lynn's "Don't Come Home A-Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)", and Hank Williams, Jr. and Waylon Jennings' "The Conversation". These are older, classic country tracks, which fits the station's outlaw image.

This station should suit players who plan to spend time outside Vice City. The Grassrivers and the wilder parts of Leonida are a natural match for country music, mud, airboats and long roads. It is also a good pick if you want a slower, more story-like sound while you explore. You can learn more about the world you will be driving through in our GTA 6 map guide.

AfroBank FM: African music, old and new

AfroBank FM covers African music across different eras and styles. Rockstar says it ranges from 20th-century classics and undiscovered gems to modern sounds such as amapiano and 3-step. That wide range is the point of the station. It is not limited to one country, one decade or one dance style.

The hosts are Burna, reported to be voiced by Burna Boy, and Palmsy, reported to be voiced by Palms Trax. Rockstar calls them a dynamic duo, and tells listeners to turn up the gbedu, a Nigerian word for a big, drum-driven sound. In simple terms, this is a station built for rhythm.

Songs heard in the AfroBank FM preview include Asake's "Joha", Pat Thomas and Ebo Taylor's "Gye Wani", and DJ Lag and Robot Boii's "Shay'sana" featuring Kamo Mphela. Together, those three tracks already show the station's range, from classic African sounds to modern dance music.

If you are new to African music, AfroBank FM could be a great place to start. Amapiano is a smooth, danceable house style from South Africa, while 3-step is a faster, more energetic South African dance sound. The older tracks on the station show where those modern styles came from. Try this station first if you want something fresh that you may not have heard in a GTA game before.

The Chamber 106.6: classic heavy metal

The Chamber 106.6 is the heavy metal station, and Rockstar does not hold back in describing it. The station promises crushing metal from the 1980s and beyond, and invites listeners to jump in the pit. It is made for players who want loud guitars, fast drums and powerful vocals while they drive.

The hosts are DJ Kerry, reported to be voiced by Kerry King, and DJ Tom, reported to be voiced by Tom Araya. Both are members of the metal band Slayer. Having real metal legends host the station gives it instant credibility with metal fans, and it follows a long GTA tradition of famous musicians hosting radio stations.

Songs heard in The Chamber 106.6 preview include Black Sabbath's "I", Pantera's "I'm Broken" and Slayer's "Raining Blood". Those three tracks alone tell you the station's taste. They are heavy, classic and well known to metal fans, and they span different eras of the genre.

Pick The Chamber 106.6 for high-speed chases, intense missions or just a loud drive through Leonida. It is the most aggressive station confirmed so far, and it stands out because GTA has not always had a dedicated metal station like this. If metal is not your usual style, the preview is still worth a listen, because the hosts' energy is a big part of the fun.

Flash FM: the returning Vice City pop station

Flash FM is the one returning station in the first six. It first appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Rockstar now calls it a Vice City institution. In the original game it played 1980s pop, but in GTA 6 it plays modern pop. The name is the same, and the bright, danceable feeling is the same, but the music has moved with the times.

The hosts are Robyn and Alex Consani. Rockstar says Flash FM delivers the best in pop music, and promises it is guaranteed to make you dance no matter where you find yourself in Leonida. That is a bold promise, but the preview songs back up the pop focus.

Songs heard in the Flash FM preview include Charli xcx's "Good Ones", MGMT's "Electric Feel" and Zara Larsson and PinkPantheress' "Midnight Sun (Girls Trip)". These are catchy, upbeat pop tracks, and they show that Flash FM is not just a nostalgia station. It is a modern pop station with a classic GTA name.

Flash FM is the safest first pick if you are not sure where to start. Pop music works in almost any situation in the game, from a calm drive to a busy city mission. Long-time GTA fans will also enjoy hearing a familiar station name return in a new city, more than 20 years after Vice City. For more on the people you will hear and meet in the game, see our GTA 6 characters guide.

Dirty South Classics: Southern rap and hip-hop

Dirty South Classics plays regional rap and hip-hop classics from the American South. Rockstar says that from the beach to the block, nobody represents Leonida and the South like these hosts do. This station is about Southern pride, classic beats and artists who helped shape Southern hip-hop.

The hosts are Trick, reported to be voiced by Trick Daddy, and Trina, reported to be voiced by herself. Both are Miami rap veterans, which makes them a perfect fit for a game set in a fictional Florida. Their local knowledge and long careers give the station a real sense of place.

Songs heard in the Dirty South Classics preview include David Banner's "Like A Pimp" featuring Lil' Flip, JT Money's "Who Dat" featuring Solé, and DJ Khaled's "Born N Raised" featuring Trick Daddy, Rick Ross and Pitbull. These are classic Southern tracks, and the last one even features one of the station's own hosts.

Choose Dirty South Classics when you want classic hip-hop with a Florida feel. It is a good match for Vice City cruising, and it should appeal to players who grew up with Southern rap or want to learn more about it. Like the other stations, the preview is only a sample, so expect more classic tracks in the full game.

On-demand podcasts: a first for GTA

The biggest surprise in the October 8 announcement was not a single station. It was the news that GTA 6 will include on-demand podcasts, a first for the series. In older GTA games, talk radio was always live. You turned it on and heard whatever was playing at that moment. On-demand podcasts work differently, because you can choose an episode and listen to it when you want.

Rockstar has not named any podcasts yet, and it has not said what topics they will cover. I could not verify this, so this article does not guess at podcast titles or hosts. What we do know is that Rockstar calls them a series of on-demand podcasts, which suggests there will be more than one show, rather than a single podcast.

Podcasts could add a lot to GTA 6. They could include in-world news, comedy, crime stories, sports talk or music shows, but none of that is confirmed. For now, the safest way to think about them is simple: they are extra audio shows you can pick and play, separate from the music stations.

This feature matters because it changes how you spend time in the game world. Instead of only hearing music or live talk, you will be able to follow a show over time. That could make long drives, exploration and quiet moments in Leonida feel more alive, even when you are not in a mission.

Listening on foot: headphones and earbuds

The second big change is how you listen. In older GTA games, radio mostly stopped when you left your car. You had to be sitting in a vehicle to hear a station. In GTA 6, that rule changes. Players will be able to listen to radio stations and podcasts on foot, through headphones or earbuds connected to Jason and Lucia's smartphones.

This is a first for the series, and it is easy to see why players are excited about it. You will be able to keep listening while you walk through Vice City, explore the countryside or travel between missions. The music will follow you, instead of staying locked inside a car.

There is still an important gap in what Rockstar has explained. Rockstar has NOT explained how listening on foot interacts with combat, dialogue or cutscenes. For example, we do not know if the music pauses during a mission conversation, lowers in volume during a fight, or keeps playing through a cutscene. I could not verify this, so this article does not guess. Expect Rockstar to explain those details closer to launch.

Until then, treat on-foot listening as a confirmed feature with unconfirmed details. The core idea is clear, and it is a welcome change, but the exact rules for how it works in missions are still unknown. The two main characters, Jason and Lucia, are at the centre of this feature, since the headphones and earbuds connect to their phones. You can meet them in our GTA 6 characters guide.

How to preview the stations on Rockstar's site

You do not have to wait until launch to hear what these stations sound like. Rockstar has put previews for all six stations on the music section of the official GTA VI website. Here is how to try them.

First, go to Rockstar's official GTA VI website and find the music section. Next, look for the radio station previews from the October 8 announcement. Then, press play on each station and listen for a few minutes. Each preview gives you a feel for the music style, the hosts and the overall mood of the station.

Listen to the previews with good headphones if you can, because the difference between stations is clearer that way. Try at least one track from each style, even if you think you already know your favourite. Many players may be surprised by a station they did not expect to like, such as AfroBank FM or Back Country Radio.

Remember that a preview is a short sample, not the full station. The final game will have more songs, more host chat and, Rockstar says, more stations and podcasts to discover. Use the previews to pick your early favourites, not to judge the complete soundtrack.

Tips for picking your station

If you want non-stop energy, start with Cocoteo FM or Flash FM. Both are built for dancing and driving, and both have catchy, upbeat previews. If you want something heavier, The Chamber 106.6 is the clear choice. If you want classic hip-hop with a Florida feel, try Dirty South Classics.

For exploring the countryside, Back Country Radio fits the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn perfectly. For discovering new sounds, AfroBank FM offers the widest mix of old and new music. For story-style listening on foot, try the podcasts once Rockstar names them, and test how they feel during a walk through the city.

It also helps to match the station to your mood, not just your usual taste. GTA radio has always been about surprise. A country song during a sunset drive, or a metal track during a chase, can make a normal moment in the game feel memorable. Do not be afraid to switch stations often, especially in your first few hours with the game.

Finally, keep an eye on Rockstar's announcements before launch. GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026, and more music news may arrive before then. You can check the key dates and details in our GTA 6 release date guide.

What is not confirmed yet

Several important details are still unconfirmed, and it is worth listing them clearly so you are not misled by rumours. First, the complete station list is not confirmed. Rockstar has revealed six stations, but has said this is its biggest and widest-ranging selection yet, which strongly suggests more stations are coming.

Second, no podcast titles, topics or hosts have been confirmed. Rockstar has announced on-demand podcasts as a feature, but has not named a single show. Third, Rockstar has not explained how on-foot listening works during combat, dialogue or cutscenes, as noted above. Fourth, no complete track list has been published for any station. The songs in this article are preview songs only.

Fifth, the rumoured stations CircoLoco Records Radio and V-Rock, linked to an unconfirmed October 4 Spotify leak, remain unconfirmed rumours and are not treated as confirmed stations in this article.

One more caution: some reports about the hosts give the real artists behind the on-air names, while Rockstar's own pages lead with the on-air names. If a future Rockstar update changes or clarifies a host pairing, this article should be updated to match Rockstar's wording. Until then, enjoy the six confirmed stations for what they are: a strong, varied first look at Leonida's radio dial.
